This week, 40 Year 10 and Year 11 pupils took a trip to Liverpool to watch a performance of Willy Russell’s ‘Blood Brothers.’ This is one of the many texts that they have to study for their GCSE in English Literature. The pupils attending the performance were amazing ambassadors for the school showing a great respect for the etiquette of watching a performance. We will be awarding some additional points onto our rewards pupils to acknowledge their excellent conduct at this event. We really hope that seeing the performance live helped Y11 pupils to refresh their knowledge of the play and also brought the story to life for Y10 pupils who are reading it in class at the moment.
