Following the highly successful castle competition on open night, after carefully counting the votes Castle No 6 won “best castle”. This was made by Jessica Hurst, and was a simple but effective representation of a medieval stone castle. Thomas Sharpe received a prize for his picture and the teachers’ prize went to Sam Kelly for a highly imaginative carving of a castle on Indian Stone.
The Trenches competition was won by Emma Higginbottom with her plaster trench, this was a very difficult decision for many of our visitors last week and the voting was very close.
Well done to everyone who took part. The standard was extremely high!
