Following a series of lessons about medieval Castles and a trip to Skipton Castle, Year 7 were asked to construct a castle for homework. These were displayed on Open Evening and visitors were asked to choose their favourite. The one with the most votes was Lizzie Hook with her superb Motte and Bailey construction. There were many cake castles entered as well and 7LO enjoyed eating Number 12 on Wednesday morning, thanks to Nisha Anderson. The standard was extremely high and there were many potential winners. Pupils had used their creativity and there was a huge variety of interpretations. Well done to everyone there were some great castles!
