One of our Year 8 pupils is raising money for The UK Sepsis Trust. Sepsis is a life-threatening condition triggered by infection or injury, which is something quite personal to Mia Sharp who decided to organise a bake sale. By enlisting the help of her friends: Charlotte St Paul, Holly Yates and Abbie Davies, they baked some fantastic cakes, had cakes donated to the cause and some store-bought goodies given ready to be sold to the pupils and staff at Shevington. All the cakes were sold in just one break time which just shows how delicious they were. Just from the cake sale, the girls have raised a fantastic £41.80 but not only that, they have raised awareness around school about Sepsis and what the UK Sepsis Trust does.
Well done girls!
