Shevington High School pupils came together to remember the genocide during WW2. They were joined by some pupils from Blackburn Central High School to participate in a testimony made by a Holocaust survivor. As part of this very important memorial, butterflies were used as a way of symbolising the need to be tolerant and the importance of freedom for all human beings, this was brought together on a huge board painted by Isobel Lowe, Lexie Tolley and Morgan Smalley, with the motto for this years Holocaust Memorial Day, DON’T STAND BY.
