Last night, a warm Italian welcome awaited a group of young pupils from Shevington High School as they gathered at the Olive Garden, Standish to celebrate the end of an exciting and successful year at school!
The Olive Garden manager, Mr Michael Madani, who happens to be a past pupil of our school, was on hand to greet our excited young pupils and to guide them through the delicious Italian cuisine on the menu. He also shared memories of his happy and successful years at Shevington High School.
There were sad moments during the evening as pupils said goodbye to Ben Fairhurst, an amazing Year 9 pupil who leaves us next week to start the next phase of his learning journey to success! The whole of Shevington High School Community will miss Ben. We all wish him well for the future.
