Yesterday, hundreds of Shevington High School pupils enjoyed their summer rewards trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It quickly became obvious it was going to be a hot and busy day as we arrived in Blackpool. Pupils had a brilliant time, braving the rides with their friends. For once, the water rides provided a welcome opportunity to cool down. As the temperatures reached in excess of 30 degrees Celsius, it was to be one the hottest reward trips on record! The pupils were a credit to the school and as the day finished with a rather hot journey home, we were impressed with their temperature endurance skills. Thanks to the staff who organised the trip.
