We’ve got great news – one of Shevington High School’s teams has been selected as North West winner of The Bright Ideas Challenge!

The Shell School’s team were so impressed by the creative thinking, problem solving and team work demonstrated in the Shevington Future Scientists team’s winning entry and are delighted to crown them North West winner of The Bright Ideas Challenge. To secure this amazing achievement, the winning team; Luke Smith, Holly James and David Higginbottom, had to complete a research project on meeting the future energy needs of the population. As a result of their efforts……

Shevington High School will receive:
£1,500 to super-size STEM teaching

And members of Shevington Future Scientists will receive:
A tablet computer each
An invitation and free travel to the national final at Make the Future London on Friday July 1, 2016
