Two Year 7 history classes have so far successfully completed the castle project set before the half term. The objective was to successfully construct a castle they had learned about during the module on the history and evolution of castles through time. With motte and baily and square keep being the most popular along with building materials including: Lego, clay, cardboard and some you will simply have to judge for yourself. The pupils also had to confidently describe the defensive features of their chosen and constructed castle which they all did. Just by looking at the castles you can see the effort gone into to them and all pupils who have made one should be very proud of their achievement.
