For the past three months, Years 7 and 8 have been taking part in raising money for the Orchid Charity. Pupils have raised an amazing £750 and are still raising funds! ASDA have worked closely with Shevington High School to put on a Halloween Ball and to provide food for the successful Summer School.

Orchid is an organisation which supports research into male cancers, as well as helping those affected.

Here, Year 7 are joined by Frank Harrington from Orchid who received the cheque. Moira Morris, from ASDA Depot in Wigan, was also in the audience, as ASDA gave great support to putting on fund raising events in school. The cheque is presented by Head Boy Matthew Turner and Head Girl Ellie Harrison.
