We insist on the pupils following our 'Big 6' expectations, which are:
1. Be polite and follow instructions.
2. Be kind, respect others, the school environment and local community.
3. Move calmly and with purpose around the school.
4. Dress smartly, wearing the correct uniform at all times.
5. Be on time, equipped and prepared for learning.
6. Work hard, embrace challenges and show resilience.
Every child has the right to learn in a lesson free from disruption. It is not acceptable for a small minority to ruin the education of others, we have the highest expectations of ALL our pupils, lowering our expectations means we think you can’t do it. If we let you off, we let you down!
Leaders have very high expectations of for how pupils should behave. All staff share these expectations.
Pupils have a secure understanding of how to treat others.
They know that any incidents of unkindness will be dealt with quickly and effectively by staff. Ofsted, May 2026
