The class of 2015 gathered today to collect their exam results. There was a great deal of excitement and anticipation as students opened their results. It was lovely to see pupils and staff celebrate together after so much hard work. There are too many successes to list individually, with many students exceeding the targets that they had been working towards.

This year, many students took extra GCSEs after following a curriculum that allowed them to study both the EBACC and some additional subjects of their choice. Louis Steele competed an amazing 13 GCSEs, most of which were A* or A grades and Emma Gleave achieved 12 GCSEs, again with the majority being graded A* or A. Tiegan Blackhurst, Olivia Kordinski, Danielle Finch, Laura Whitter and Ben Foster also finished with an amazing number of A*/A grades.

There were also many other personal successes with pupils performing beyond their expectations or achieving the grades that will enable them to take the next steps in their educational journey. Josh Hart did brilliantly securing 10 GCSEs including 6 A grades and India Morris enjoyed celebrating the culmination of so much hard work gaining 9 GCSEs of which many were B grades. These are just a few of the students who had so much to celebrate.

Staff were on hand to support students as they considered their next steps. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our 2015 leavers the very best of luck as they move onto to face new challenges.
