Shevington High School is a successful and popular 11-16 community school seeking to appoint a full time Teacher of History. The post offers a fantastic opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher.

The successful candidate will work within a highly successful Humanities Faculty which includes; Geography, History and RE. It is essential that the successful candidate has a wide knowledge and proven experience in teaching KS3 and KS4 History but is also willing to teach across the Humanities Faculty.

The Humanities Faculty is committed to learning beyond the classroom and the successful candidate would be expected to build on the already excellent practice in terms of learning beyond the classroom, by organising, not only field trips for History but also supporting Geography and RE in this type of extended learning. The successful candidate would be expected to expand History into a wider school ethos.

The successful candidate will work within a highly successful Humanities Faculty which includes; Geography, History and RE. It is essential that the successful candidate has a wide knowledge and proven experience in teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography but is also willing to teach across the Humanities Faculty.
